Portraits

The object of these pictures was to try to capture someones feelings and emotions through the camera lens without them posing. We connected with the person we were photographing and gave them different emotions to portray (but still without posing).

  1. All of your photos are really good! The lightings really good and the expressions on the faces are really interesting. I don't think I would change anything.

  2. Focus on the wrong part of the face can be a serious problem when taking portraits. They can blur a section face which is important in portraits. However, you actually did a very good job with these photos. I can see a lot of detail in each individual photo without clicking on them to be larger. The detail is key in Avedon portraits and along with the soft lighting, which you also to look good, you made a set that really is strong.

  3. I like these pictures. I think that the only thing is that maybe if you could edit them a little by making them darker it could help the photos pop even more. Good job!
