silhouettes

For this series, I tried to capture minimalism and create silhouettes by using back lighting. I noticed that photographing telephone wires in the sky and trees in the sky worked the best because of how minimalist both things are. My approach was to find a minimalist scene and then try to use the back lighting to create silhouettes.

  2. I think you did a great job capturing photos that show minimalism and create silhouettes using back lighting. I think the photos with the branches and telephone wires represent the assignment best because the sky represents the minimalism really well. I really like your second photo because the telephone wires represent the silhouette aspect, and the sky represents the minimalism. I like how you kept the actual color and beauty of the sky. Overall, great job on all of your photos!

  4. The simplicity of your photos look great and just scrolling down, it looks so uniform and comes together as a whole very nicely. The cloudy sky came through as a nice background for your photos. Keep it up!

  7. I like the minimalism you used in these. Sometimes the best way to take a photo is to stop and just look up, and shoot what you see, the sky offers a great canvas
