For this first draft, I dove deeper into photographing plants with low shutter speed. I really like how the colors pop out and the shapes and textures created by having a blurry plant. My approach is to turn the camera onto the tv mode, and lower the speed down to 1/15 because I have found that this speed is a very good one for this series. I am going to, for the next drafts, try to get more variety of colors, textures, and plants.
The idea to photograph a still life object with so much detail using motion was a great one! I like how there is still detail in the photo! x
ReplyDeleteI think you have a great start to your first draft of your series project. I believe that your series project is really interesting, and I really like how you are photographing plants with a low shutter speed and trying to make the colors of the plants pop out. I really like your fifth photo because the photo is blurry enough that a viewer still knows what the plant looks like, and I really like the shapes and textures created by the blurry effect. Overall, great job on all of your photos!
ReplyDeleteThe use of the motion and blurring the photo really brings out the true colors of the plants and flowers. I personally like sixth one the most.
ReplyDeleteYour idea is really really unique and creative! I like how you chose to photograph plants in motion which gives the plants you photographed a really nice abstract feel. These are really different in a really good way! Good Job
ReplyDeleteI like how the photos are blurred in a specific direction rather than it being random
