spring one

For this series, I chose to focus on textures. I found some very neat and beautiful looking textures, and most of them had colors that really popped out. My approach was to walk around, to find some type of texture, and to get in close and photograph. I found that some plants, such as succulents, make for a very beautiful texture.

  1. You have found some great textures and have managed to portray the feel of them into the pictures, well done.

  2. I really like the contrast between the flowers and the rustic, scratched textures in these photos! I love the first one because it has a great flow to it and a cool aesthetic.

  3. I think you have a great start to your first draft of your final series project. I believe that your final series project is really interesting, and I really like how you are focusing on photographing different textures. I like how you are finding your textures with different subjects like plants, buildings, walls, and things you find on the street. I really like your fourth photo because even though I am not quite sure what it the subject is, I think the texture of the subject looks amazing. Overall, great job on all of your photos!

  4. I love these images! Especially the flower photos, I think those are the strongest in the set. I think you also did a really good job of giving a new idea of what textures can be, not just walls, rather finding them in places where you wouldn't expect to look for textures. Great Work!

  5. It 's great to see so many interesting textures that we often see but don't recognize. I especially like the zoomed in approach. Nice work! x
