For this series, I tried to darken the photos much more as well as cropping it so its more dark and mysterious. I also tried to have more variety as to the shapes of the peppers I used.

For this series, I tried to darken the photos to give it a more mysterious feel as well as cropping the photo so that the foreground and the background don't take away from the mushroom itself. I also tried to get up close to the mushroom so I could really capture the beautiful texture as well as having the mystery feeling to it. My approach was to cast different shadows across the mushroom while photographing the mushroom at every possibly angle.

For this series, I tried to improve my pictures by cropping out/not including the foreground (which is the velvet sheet) so that the mushrooms and peppers look more mysterious and odd. This series is still life, and I am focusing only on mushrooms and peppers. I am shooting in black and white while trying to cast different shadows. I ended up using only two mushrooms for this series but photographed it at all different angles. Same type of thing with the peppers. My approach when photographing these two objects are to photograph them one at a time and to photograph every possible angle of it. Then I choose another object and repeat this system with that, and so on.
