For this fourth series, I tried to find new, different textures than what I had photographed before. When searching for textures, I found that rust is always a rich one as well as walls that are bumped up and are somewhat dirty. My approach was to set the camera on macro, to go out and walk around, photographing all sorts of different textures, while getting in close on them.
Your series is amazing!! I love these textures and the way they are shot up close. The ones of the cracks in the walls are awesome. Its so cool that you found all these varied textures on walls and stuff. Great work!

ReplyDeleteI think this set is really great, and gives us a really good look into what catches your eye as you walk around photographing. I agree, rust is a really interesting texture, and it gives a lot of different colors to it.

I like how you are finding your textures with different subjects like plants, buildings, and walls, and focused on finding textures with rust. I really like your third to last photo because there are many different colors of the rust. Overall, great job on all of your photos!
